Good morning, how are you?, This entry aims to reflect on the idea that you have this server on journalism in this country.
Whereas heard yesterday in the premises of the Association of Journalists of El Salvador (APES), the journalist must, among a long list of responsibilities, act with objectivity and professionalism, ensuring that expressed as in his writings or in his photographs are simply a reflection of reality itself.
However, the information task is not simple, because it requires, more than one occasion, sacrifice and complete dedication, in terms of timetables and methods to gather information.
On the other hand, must take into account that this is a profession which, like any other financial compensation is intended to be afforded the individual and family needs of the person dedicated to journalism.
Salvadoran society, different media, such as print, radio, television and even virtual, in which different interests may be involved, either for economic reasons, political or social. Despite this, journalists should be guided by their knowledge, reason, heart and truth, trying all the time, almost as was said yesterday at the premises of the Apes: "transmitting what happened, as has seen "(not verbatim).
So I say, if serious journalism should be ethical, professional, attached to the truth, and no clear patterns, unless they are part of consensus within the medium itself. Thus, the objective (which should be to analyze the mixture with the subjectivity of the journalist) and impartiality will be merged, ensuring at all times: INFORM, ENTERTAIN, EDUCATE, constructive criticism and the East, the reader or viewer.
